Innovation Center
Brown Academy relaunched status as a Magnet/Zone Title I School in 2020-2021. The school went under a rebranding and aligned focus on the mission, Innovation for All, by becoming a School of Innovation and installing a HCS elab & Innovation Center. The Innovation Center opened in August 2021 and adds additional workspaces for multiple classrooms to collaborate and work on innovative initiatives on any given school day. The Brown Academy Innovation Center was developed to be a hub of innovation for the school district and the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. As we continue to champion the mission of innovation for all in future school years, we plan to refine and grow our STEM and innovative practices so our students are known for their identity as innovators.
